Terms Used

     The following terms are those that are commonly misunderstood by non-Christians. If there is a term used on this site, or any other of our publications that you do not understand, please contact us. The words used below have been defined for you by Pastor David.

CHRISTIAN = A follower or disciple of Jesus Christ. A person who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and follows His example in their daily lives. And believes in their heart that He died on the cross at Calvary for their sins. A Christian is not sinless, but they do sin less. NOTE: Simply believing that Jesus is the Son of God will not get you to Heaven! James tells us that "You believe that their is one God. Good! The deamons believe that - - and shudder" (James 2:19 NIV). To be a Christian you must not only believe, but also have a change of heart about your sins, and begin to live for Christ. Jesus Gave His Life for you, and in return expects you to live your life for Him!
